Stoney Creek Turmaline Buckeye Burl

Product description

This Stoney Creek is a Cabronita-style T model, featuring a buckeye-burl top and Seymour Duncan Vintage Broadcaster pickups.

Stoney Creek Guitars is known for their quality handmade guitars. Every single instrument is unique and is built with great eye for detail, often using special types of wood. The company offers the possibility to build to custom specs, but they also build a few base models, that offer outstanding playability and a truly authentic sound.

The Turmaline model is Stoney Creek's version of the classic T-style guitar, with a few changes to the original. It has a slightly different neck/body shape, that makes it more comfortable to play, especially in the higher regions. This Thurmaline features a swamp ash body with a stunning Buckeye Burl, and a roasted maple neck with Ebony fretboard. The pickups used are Seymour Duncan Vintage Broadcaster, making this a very clear and punchy sounding guitar that suits a lot of different musical genres and playing styles. A very sturdy Hiscox case is included with the sale. For a full list of specs, see the list below.

Stoney Creek's was founded by luthier is Frank de Haan, who was originally educated as a carpenter. He switched to guitar building, learning and working at Galloup guitar building school in the US and Patrick James Eggle Guitars in the UK. Back in the Netherlands, Stoney Creek was founded, operating from the city of Alkmaar, North Holland.
